last minute essays

Well, I was feeling a little sickly when I woke up with a sore throat, headache, and a slight fever, so I was forced to call the secretary at the elementary school to inform the teachers that I wouldn't be there this morning. I know the kiddos always look forward to it, especially being 1st and 2nd grade, but I didn't want to risk actually being sick around them. And I also needed to stay home to catch up on my homework, so it all worked out for the best. Saying that I feel bad, because it is a lot of fun reading with the kiddos, but I feel that my extreme headache and sore throat would be too distracting, and I didn't want to cause other kiddos to go home sick. I blame it on the weather and midterms...Lack of sunshine and sleep.

I just finished a differentiated lesson plan, and now I have 2 short essays left, due at 8:59 pm because of the east coast/west coast time difference. Wish me luck! {My motivation is coming back...}

I also just recieved this book, which came out only maybe a week ago? I cannot wait to dig in...

My book pile and reading wish list i growing far too fast...

Can't wait for this Monday to be over, get some much needed rest to recover from the lack of sleep and creeping sickly feelings, and to begin week 5 out of 8 of my classes. This term is flying by!

Summer needs to be here now. Anyone else think so?

Just gotta keep this verse in mind...

I have worth and purpose in the eyes of my Savior, I must never forget that. I will overcome this sickness and take advantage of this newfound motivation in my studies. Soon it will be summer, and I will be ever more closer to taking my certification exams and graduating. I am grateful for this opportunity to go back to school and volunteer in the community. I am thankful for this life my husband and I have together. I musn't dwell in my sickness and lack of motivation - instead I should lift up my worries to Him so that I can get down to business, and turn in my work on time. Thanks be to God.
